Sanskrit name Shilajit-Amrit means “as a rock”, the power of making a rock of our body, permitting fighting against aging wear. It has the power never reached by other substances to fight and reverse the aging process. Shilajit-Amrit is an exudates obtained from the Himalaya steep rocks at 10,000 feet above sea level. It is a blend of organic and inorganic ingredients, 84 mineral, and amino acids found in ionic state.
Its name is found in ancient Indian Sanskrit manuscripts of Ayurvedic medicine and Chinese literature where Shilajit is reference as Amrit or forever green life nectar and youth spring, used to treat several health conditions. It must be noted that the therapeutic and medicinal effects of the raw material varies according to the region where it is harvested. There are several substances containing humic and fulvic acids, but true Shilajit has a very important bioactive ingredient not found in any other similar substance. Its authenticity and therapeutic quality is identified by the inclusion of dibenzoalphapirone. Fulvic acids are small molecules with a meshed shape that carries the dibenzoalphapirones which are in charge of breaking the blood barriers acting as a powerful anti-oxidizer protecting the brain and nervous tissues.
